Holiday shopping

No surprise—we think books make the very best gifts for any occasion.

As always, there are several ways for you to shop with us.

Our suppliers have notified us that they need to receive orders by Friday, December 13 to ensure they will be in the store before Christmas. books illustration from the catalog

We love seeing you in person! Our staff is always ready to talk books and make suggestions for everyone on your shopping list. And we’ll be glad to gift wrap everything you purchase. See our December hours below. And when you’re in the store, you can discover our non-book merchandise, much of which is not on our online store. We have greeting cards, earrings, puzzles, games, socks, T-shirts, and toys. The physical copy of our Holiday Catalog, which is available in the store, contains descriptions of each book.

Our Special Holiday Edition

Our custom in the December issue of the newsletter is to highlight books in our holiday catalog.
We ask each contributor to name three books they’d like to receive and three they’d like to give.
The books in the rest of the newsletter, except Book Groups, are their choices.
