This tome is amazing, so thorough! I had a chance to sample some recipes from the book and they tasted great.

Thank You and Good Night
by Patrick McDonnell
This sweet picture book is by a longtime favorite artist/author of mine. Three friends spend an evening together doing fun things, like hide & seek and yoga, until it’s time for bed. Then they get ready for bed, snuggle in, give thanks for all the fun they’ve had and go to sleep. It’s a perfect bedtime book.

Everything, Everything
by Nicola Yoon
This is a great book for the voracious teen reader in your life. The main character suffers from a rare disorder known as SCID, which isolates her from the world, but when a new neighbor moves in next door and begins to communicate with her, everything changes |

Polka Heartland: Why the Midwest Loves to Polka
by Dick Blau
If my dad were still alive, I’d give him a copy of Polka Heartland.
I have many happy memories of “oompah-pah” at childhood family gatherings, including learning to polka by standing on my dad’s feet as he danced.
|
|
|
|
|
Euphoria
by Lily King
This was a favorite recent read, and I’d like to give a copy to a special friend. |
|
|
|
|
I'd like to receive:
Wildlife of the World
by
Don E. Wilson
When I was sick as a child, I loved to curl up with an illustrated book of zoo animals. I thought of that book when I saw Wildlife of the World, but this is better than the book of my childhood, as it shows animals in their own habitats. Another great animal book in the catalog is Polar: A Photicular Book, which shows animals in motion.

X
bu Sue Grafton
Mysteries are my escape reading, and I’d like to receive a copy of X.

I'd like to receive:
Sun and Moon
by Lindsey Yankey
Sun and Moon is a children's book with a message for adults as well. Moon wants to switch places with Sun. Sun insists that Moon must first look carefully at the night one last time. The illustrations are wonderful and the story's lesson is a good reminder for all of us.

Some Luck
by Jane Smiley
I was a fan of Smiley's A Thousand Acres and look forward to reading her trilogy updating readers on the Langdon family. The trilogy begins with Some Luck, continues with Early Warning, and concludes with Golden Age. Reading this trilogy might be a great way to pass the cold winter days ahead.
