Got Your Nose!
Alan Katz, illustrated by Alex Willan
If you’re like me, you’ve played the silly game Got Your Nose! both as a child and adult. You know the game I mean—you pretend to take a child’s nose, showing them your thumb between your first and middle fingers. Becky and her Grandpa Max love playing that game, too, until the day he actually takes her nose and it runs away! Children and adults adult will enjoy giggling over this silly story.

Beneath
Cori Doerrfeld
Minnesota author and illustrator Cory Doerrfeld’s latest book tenderly explores both the natural world and the wonders of a little boy’s heart. Grandpa wants to talk about Finn’s horrible mood. Finn doesn’t want to talk, but consents to a walk with Grandpa as long as he can stay beneath his quilt. As they walk, Grandpa points out a variety of things that have something beneath them—trees, a bird on a nest, a boat on the lake. Gradually, Finn emerges from the quilt, and he and Grandpa are both healed in significant ways.
