Night In/Morning In re-cap

Our annual event for book lovers was fun for all in attendance! The person who came the farthest was from South Dakota! We’ll share half of Jen and Sally’s book talks from the event this month and the other half in March

Next year’s dates are January 18 and 19.

Jewel of the NorthwoodsSpring Retreat
March 30, 10:00 to 4:00

As we put this newsletter together, Park Rapids is the coldest spot in Minnesota, at -42 degrees. Yet, we’re confident that warmer weather will come again! And while the grounds of Jewel of the Northwoods won’t look as lush as the picture, they will extend a warm welcome!

Our theme will be “Living Outside Ordinary Time.” We’ll explore this idea by reading and discussing two very different books.

Give yourself the gift of a day apart, enjoying delicious food and lively conversation. The cost of the retreat is $45, plus books. Registration materials will be available at the store or by email. Contact us at 218-237-2665 or sally@beagleandwolf.com

And looking even further ahead, our fall retreat will be October 25 to 27. Theme and books will be announced later in the year.

We're All In This Together
Amy Jones

Like all families, the Parkers of Thunder Bay have had their share of complications. Set over the course of four calamitous days that culminate in a road trip to Duluth, Minnesota, Amy Jones's big-hearted, bestselling novel follows the Parkers as catastrophe forces them to do something they never thought possible—act like a family.

Originally published in Canada in 2016, the publisher has revised the cover slightly and made a few other minor tweaks to the package, treating it as a new release in the US since it wasn’t previously available.
