Author Fest
June 18
After a two year hiatus, Author Fest, our annual celebration of Minnesota authors and their books, will be back!
It will be at the American Legion, 900 1St. E., from 11:00 to 3:00!! It's a great chance to visit with authors, meet new authors, get signed books, and hear authors read! There will be signings throughout the day. Author appearances are subject to change.
We ask that you not bring books purchased elsewhere to the event. If you bring a book purchased from us, you must have the receipt.
For the latest information on the event, contact the store, 218-237-2665 or sally@beagleandwolf.com

Fall Reading Retreats
Our fall retreats are a chance to get away for a relaxing weekend, talking about books with a great group of women, eating food someone else has prepared, all at a leisurely pace. We’ll all read the same three books ahead of time.
Our theme is “Seasons in Women’s Lives.” Our books are:
- Brood, Jackie Polzin
- Bright Precious Thing, Gail Caldwell
- Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk, Kathleen Rooney
Note: the paperback of Brood will be released July 26, and it will be available in the store then. The other two books are in stock now.
Identical retreats will be held October 7 to 9 and 14 to 16. A $50 deposit will hold your spot. However, the retreats are nearly full. Email sally@beagleandwolf.com to ask if there is still room. And we’ll have a waiting list for each retreat! No deposit necessary to be on the waiting list.
