Olivia's Group

Our newest book group is Olivia’s Group. One evening when staff member Jamie left for book group, her six year old daughter, Olivia, felt left out—so she decided to start her own book group! Here’s a picture of their first meeting, when they discussed Junie B. Jones and the Mushy Gushy Valentine. Olivia is on the left and her Grandma Jan, who facilitated the conversation, is on the right. We’re working with our children’s book rep at Random House to suggest titles for this group of eager readers. You’re never too young or too old to be in a book group!
